Support
MeetFolks is an AI note-taker for in-person meetings. Everyone joins from their own phone, and afterwards everyone gets the notes, with each passage credited to the person who said it.
Contact us. Write to hello@meetfolks.app. Tell us the email address you sign in with and, if it's about a meeting, roughly when it happened. For a copy of your information, or to have it corrected or deleted, write to privacy@meetfolks.app.
1Signing in
Enter your email address and we'll send you a sign-in link. It works once and expires in ten minutes, so open it on the phone or computer you want to sign in on. You can also continue with Google or with Apple.
Sign in with the same email address everywhere, and your meetings and credits follow you to every device. If the link doesn't arrive, check your spam folder, then ask for a new one.
2Credits, plans and restoring purchases
Meetings use credits. To add some, open Account and tap Add credits, then choose a plan or a top-up. A plan gives you credits every month; top-ups carry over from month to month. On iPhone and iPad you pay through the App Store, and on Android through Google Play.
- Restore purchases: on a new phone, or if something you bought isn't showing, sign in to the same MeetFolks account, open Account, tap Add credits, then tap Restore purchases under the plans. Use the same Apple ID or Google account you paid with.
- Change or cancel a plan: open Account and tap Manage subscription. You can also cancel through the store: on iPhone and iPad or on Android.
- Paid, but no credits? Write to hello@meetfolks.app and we'll put it right.
3Refunds
Purchases made in the iPhone or Android app are handled by Apple or Google, so ask them for a refund:
- iPhone and iPad: request a refund from Apple.
- Android: Google Play refunds.
For a purchase made on the website, write to hello@meetfolks.app.
4Deleting your account
Open Account and tap Delete account, on the website or in the app. Or, without signing in, go to meetfolks.app/delete-account and we'll email you a link to confirm. Deleting the app doesn't delete your account.
Deletion happens straight away and can't be undone:
- your account, sign-ins, devices and notification settings are deleted;
- meetings where you were the only person are deleted entirely;
- in meetings with other people, your audio is deleted and you're shown as an unnamed speaker (such as "Speaker B"), so the others keep their notes;
- any unused credits are lost. We keep a record of your payments for 7 years for tax and refunds, with no name or email attached.
If you have a plan, cancel it first: deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription with Apple or Google. Deleted information can remain in our backups for up to 30 days.
5Your meeting data
- Your voice profile stays on your device and is never sent to us.
- Meeting audio is kept for up to 365 days, then deleted automatically. To have a meeting's audio deleted sooner, write to privacy@meetfolks.app.
- Transcripts, summaries and notes are kept until you ask us to delete the meeting or you delete your account.
- Where it's kept: with our cloud providers, who may store it in countries other than yours.
We don't sell your information and we don't use it to train AI models. The Privacy Notice has the full details.
